So recently I have felt really discouraged - ok mainly this week. Just being sick last week and getting behind in school while still battling with financial aid has been such a downer. I haven't felt motivated to do anything, including spending time with God. I prayed for motivation and conviction. This morning Bekah texted me and told me about this convicting dream she had and as excited for her as I was I was also frustrated because I wanted that! So I resolved to spend some solid time in the Word and just pour my heart out in prayer, I brought up my sin and I prayed for desire for the Lord. (quick note: I was having this quiet time in this coffee shop, which is pretty great but not as awesome as Donkey) anyway so I'm sitting there, jamming to Josh Groban when this girl walks up to me and asks if I did Young Life because I was wearing my YL hoodie. I told her I did in Athens but wasn't sure if I would here because my classes are at night, etc. She then asked if I had gotten plugged in anywhere or found a place to be poured into, which I haven't. So she told me about this group that meets on campus and the church she goes.
I stand in awe of the Lord. Again he has answered my prayer and so soon! I prayed for fellowship and it walked right up to me! I am so excited to check out this church and hopefully get plugged in somewhere. Praise Jesus.
